CATT app for iPhone and iPad

CATT applies cutting edge advances in augmented reality (AR) to create computer-generated, interactive visual experiences fused with real-world locations, accessible via user’s iPhone or iPad. This playful AR app is designed for anyone who wants to uncover and explore hidden worlds on the Pratt Institute campus, with the wise, one-eyed CATT as your tour guide.

CATT is fully compatible with iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, as well as with iPad2 with cellular capability and The New iPads with cellular capability and the iPad mini with cellular capability.
Please note, CATT will not support iPod Touch, iPhone 3G, 3GS or iPads without cellular data.

-Follow the CATT, obey CATT’s instructions and find the solutions to the physical games presented to you by CATT.

-Retina Display support on the iPhone and the new iPad.

-Augmented Reality compatible with iPad2 with cellular capability and The New iPads with cellular capability (3rd Generation or higher) and the iPad mini with cellular capability. Also compatible with the iPhone 5, iPhone 4s and iPhone 4. Will not run on iPod Touch, iPhone 3G or 3GS.

[Instructions]

-CATT is waiting for you at the main entrance to Pratt Institute’s Brooklyn campus, at the Northeast corner of Hall Street and Dekalb Avenue.

-Sound is an important component of this app. CATT works best if you wear headphones.

-Turn on the app and enter the gate. Look for CATT and follow it.

-Always hold your device horizontally.

-Once you start the app, make sure all, or most, of the lights on the GPS bar are illuminated. The GPS bar is at the bottom center of the screen.

-Walk around in a circle until the virtual cat appears on your screen.

-Follow the cat to three locations—the Fountain; the Main Lawn; and the Sculpture Garden.

-Once you reach these three hotspots, three different worlds will appear.

-CATT will give you clues to solve the challenges that CATT presents at each location. Listen carefully to what CATT says. You must solve the problem in each place before moving on.

-At any time, while running the app, touch the icon on the top right of the screen, which looks like the CATT’s eye. This will load the About Screen where you can read about the app. Press the "Enter World" button to return to the app.
